PDF Pro Panel 3 is an on-device, privacy-first software suite. All native core utilities—including merging, editing, digital signatures, compression, splitting, rotating, password encryption, and OCR—execute 100% locally on your device hardware. We do not collect, transmit, record, sell, or share any personal documents, signatures, photos, or usage telemetry.
1. 100% On-Device Processing (Zero Remote Storage)
When using PDF Pro Panel 3 native applications on Android, iOS, Windows, or macOS:
- All file reading, parsing, rendering, manipulation, annotation, signing, and saving is performed exclusively in your local device environment.
- Your documents, text overlays, digital signatures, watermarks, and photos are never uploaded or streamed to external cloud servers.
- The native application functions seamlessly in offline / airplane mode without active internet connectivity.
2. Scoped Storage Access Framework (SAF)
PDF Pro Panel 3 respects modern Android sandboxing and scoped storage architecture:
- The app relies entirely on Android's system document picker (Storage Access Framework).
- The app only gains access to the specific file(s) or output folder you explicitly select.
- Broad storage permissions (such as
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) are neither requested nor required.
3. On-Device Camera & ML Kit Computer Vision
Camera access is entirely optional and requested only when you initiate the OCR Document Scanner or Barcode Scanner:
- All computer vision, OCR text extraction, and barcode decoding models execute strictly on-device using local Google ML Kit binaries.
- Live camera frames and captured photos are never stored on external servers or transmitted over the internet.
4. Ephemeral Passwords & Temporary Cache Purging
Strict security protocols protect sensitive documents:
- Ephemeral In-Memory Handling: Passwords entered to protect or unlock documents are stored only transiently in active memory during cryptographic execution and are purged immediately.
- Automatic Sandbox Cache Purge: Intermediate files created during multi-step batch operations (such as merge queues or split batches) are saved in private app cache and deleted automatically after processing.
5. Zero Telemetry, Analytics, and Ad Trackers
PDF Pro Panel 3 does not engage in user surveillance:
- No Analytics SDKs: We do not embed Firebase Analytics, Flurry, Mixpanel, or similar telemetry trackers.
- No Advertising Networks: The application contains zero ad SDKs and does not track advertising identifiers (GAID).
- No User Profiling: We do not record user behavior, feature usage frequencies, or document metadata.

7. Web Platform & Advanced Cloud Tools
When using the web platform (https://pdfpropanel.com) or the "Advanced Tools" tab inside the app:
- Files uploaded to the web platform for heavy conversions (such as PDF to Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) are processed in isolated memory and permanently purged immediately after download.
- Local files on your device are never uploaded automatically.
